Nancy Kanter is Executive Vice President, Original Programming and General Manager, Disney Junior Worldwide.

Under her direction, the 24-hour channel has ranked as the #1 preschool-dedicated TV network since its debut. Kanter oversees development and production on Disney Junior's slate of hit series including Peabody Award-winning "Doc McStuffins" and Emmy Award-winning "Sofia the First," among many others. She also oversees Disney Channel's upcoming "Elena of Avalor," which will introduce Disney's first princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures.

Kanter joined Disney Channel in 2001 and led the successful rebrand of Playhouse Disney to Disney Junior, a brand which has been established as a global powerhouse, with 33 Disney Junior channels in 24 languages.

A native of New York, Kanter graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hunter College. She currently sits on the board of the Hollywood Health & Society at USC's Annenberg School for Communication. Kanter is based in Burbank, California.
